Welcome to beautiful Croatia! Visit the stunning Old City of Dubrovnik, marvel at the picturesque white-stoned buildings, and take a boat cruise tour on the glittering Adriatic Sea. Enjoy a day of exploring the country of Montenegro and wandering the medieval cities of Kotor and Budva.
Visit the soul of Dalmatia – Split, and a World Heritage listed city with an abundance of historic places. Visit the ancient city of Stone – Trogir, and the nearby village of Klis, a medieval stronghold featured in ‘Game of Thrones’, and the cradle of Croatian horsemanship.
On the way to Zagreb, visit Plivitce National Park - not only is it the oldest and largest national park in Croatia, and a UNESCO World Heritage site, but it is also a place of breath-taking natural beauty. In Zagreb, wander the wide boulevards, explore its colourful Open Air Market in Dolac, and try the best Croatian cuisine.
Welcome to Hungary! See the largest lake in central Europe – Balton Lake, and the stunning natural scenery and volcanic hills around it. Compare the contrasting architecture of the two sides of the city – the Buda side and the Pest side on either side of the river. We will finish our exploration of Budapest with a sunset cruise down the Danube river.
Explore Uzhorod, a Ukrainian city, which has long been a Bordertown and has long been influenced by the bordering countries of Slovakia and Hungary. Feel its multicultural vibe and its unique blend of cultures. Enjoy a traditional evening of local folk music!
Travel up into the mystic Carpathian Mountains, passing sweeping forests, flowing rivers and raging waterfalls! Experience the unique Hutsul culture, rich in traditions and superstitions, and – time for a Cobblestone exclusive – you are invited to a Hutsul Ukrainian wedding!
