Itinerary

Day
1-3
Welcome to Croatia! We are going to discover this wonderful country, and all the wines it has to offer! We start in its beautiful capital, Zagreb. Here you can wander the wide boulevards by day, and soak up the lively atmosphere after sunset. Get a taste of Croatia, on its colourful Open Air Market in Dolac. Discover Varaždin – the ancient capital of Croatia, and famous Slavonia wine region. Taste some of the famous white wines of this region, including the Graševina of the Požega Golden valley.
Day
4-5
We’ll take a trip to Europe’s smallest country capital, the picturesque Ljubljana! Marvel at the stunning Lake Bled, situated in the Slovenian Alps. Discover the best Slovenian wine region – Primorska, which has preserved many indigenous wine grape varieties, but also produces premium quality wine. Go truffle hunting in Motovun, and taste them too! And of course discover more delicious Istrian wines, including the ancient Teran wine.
Day
6-7
Visit the famous Plitvice National Park - this place of breath-taking natural beauty is the oldest and largest Croatian national park, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover Šibenik, one of Croatia’s unique towns; see authentic Croatian life from centuries gone by at a Dalmatian ethno-village. Visit the soul of Dalmatia, Split – a city with an abundance of historic places. Explore the Primošten wine region, and try a famous red wine called Babić. The Babić grape is unique, in that the shrubs grow best in small pockets of land, on small lot, enclosed by specially built drywall. The rows and rows of these small pieces of earth are an impressive sight to behold!
Day
8-9
Coming to Croatia and not seeing the islands is like visiting Rome and not seeing Pope. We’ll visit the island of Hvar, the most famous of all 1244 islands of Croatia! Famous for its rich history and legacy but primarily for its stunning scenery, it’s also one of the best wine locations in all of Croatia! With its abundance of natural fields, more than 2718 sunny hours per year, and perfect climate, no wonder Hvar is known as the island of wine.
Day
10-12
Taste some of the best seafood in Croatia in Ston, famous for its oysters, before climbing its famous stone walls. Explore more of the Pelješac wine region, famous for its premium red wines, such as Dingac and Postup. Visit the stunning Old City of Dubrovnik, marvel at the picturesque white-stoned buildings, and take a boat cruise tour on the glittering Adriatic Sea. Round off your trip with a trip to an authentic village in the Dubrovnik area, where you can dance to local music and experience true Croatian hospitality.
