Prepare to get some goosebumps as we visit The Abbey of the Black Hag, where the prioress, a lady of the Fitzgeralds from Shanid Castle, terrified the local population with her use of the Black Arts. It’s said the Countess of Desmond was buried alive here! Many years have passed, but her cries are still audible among the ruins of the castle. Travel back in time at Bunratty Folk Park, where you can get familiar with the everyday life of Irish Ancestors. Join the Earl of Thomond for a glorious Medieval Banquet at Bunratty Castle, and party medieval style!

These stunning cliffs have an impressive panorama of the wide Atlantic Ocean, and are visited for their beauty by more than 1 million people each year. As its Halloween, you have the chance to take an optional visit to the Galway Ghost Ship which only docks once a year – explore its spooky cabins, listen to chilling storytelling, and feel the spirit of Halloween - the scariest night of the year!
